Clara’s Wild Run

Clara’s paws race, swift as the breeze,
Bounding through fields, with effortless ease,
Her tail’s a blur, her eyes full of gleam,
She’s the star of every wild dream.

Chasing shadows, leaping high,
A blur of fur against the sky,
With boundless energy, she never tires,
Her joy and spirit, a source that inspires.

From dawn till dusk, she’s on the go,
Her boundless energy, a constant show,
But when she’s still, and lays her head,
It’s peace at last, as the day’s joy is shed.

Clara, my whirlwind, my wild-hearted friend,
With you, the fun will never end,
Hyperactive, loving, and always true,
My heart is full, thanks to you.

I enjoy writing simple rhyming poetry that people can easily share with their loved ones. I live in Toronto with my loving wife and two curious, adventure-seeking daughters.
